Vintage Movies in 3D

Way before Avatar or Jaws 3D, there were 3D movies back in the 50s and 60s that created a buzz that packed the theaters just like this generation’s fascination with (stereoscopic) movies in 3D. Instead of polarized 3D glasses made by companies like ReelD, movie-goers from the old days of black-and-white were the guinea pigs who learned quickly that anaglyph (red/blue lenses) 3D created good depth effects but caused headaches. From the looks on their faces I don’t think they minded too much. I can’t tell if they are impressed or bored by watching a movie in 3D. I guess that sums up life in the 50s in general.
